BSGT - Call for workshop/ small event proposals for 2011 and 2012

In 2011 and 2012 BSGT wishes to organise a number of focussed workshops or small events that foster scientific links with other societies (which may be international), and disciplines (including but not exclusive to stem cell research, virology and nanotechnology).

European Medicines Agency Consultation: Draft guideline on quality, non-clinical and clinical aspects of medicinal products containing genetically modified cells

The European Medicines Agency has published a draft Guideline on quality, non-clinical and clinical aspects of medicinal products containing genetically modified cells (EMA/CHMP/GTWP/671639/2008). This draft guideline defines scientific principles and provides guidance for the development and evaluation of medicinal products containing genetically modified cells intended for use in humans. Its focus is on the quality, safety and efficacy requirements of genetically modified cells developed as medicinal products.
