Department of Health Call for Expressions of Interest 'GMP Gene Therapy Vector
Production'
The June 2003 "Genetics" White Paper announced an investment of up to £4 million to
provide NHS and other public sector researchers with access to GMP gene therapy
vector production facilities. Earlier this year the Department of Health
invited a second call for expressions of interest for support under this
commitment. The closing date was Monday 2 April 2007.

In 2004, the Department of Health announced the recipients of the government's
funding for gene therapy. The principle investigators summarised their
proposals for BSGT and the Department of Health has provided further
information.
